After 24 hours of rain our sump pump quit working and our basement flooded. This happened yesterday. We have a lot of clean up ahead of us and hope we can save some of our belongings.

that's such a huge bummer! throw some rain-boots on those girls and pretend it's a game to clean it all up. or, just buy some water-wings, put in a diving board and call it a day!
So sorry to hear about your basement flooding, that can't be much fun! Hope you can salvage everything you need and want to keep. And here's hoping for sunny skies and better weather coming your way.
